Peterborough STEM Festival 2024

The ACP will conduct a hands-on activity event with drone flight simulators, VR aviation systems and SPOT answering visitors’ questions, on Saturday, 19 October 2024, at the Peterborough STEM Festival which will be held in the Anglia Ruskin University, Peterborough. Superbly supported by the ACP team of Emma Versen, Chris Marshall, Mike Stokes and Lee Mason, Dr Michael Smith, Chairman of the ACP Board of Trustees and a Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, will take enquiries concerning careers in aerospace, space and aviation.

Furthermore, Chris Marshall, a CAA qualified drone pilot and international drone pilot instructor, will be available to answer questions on drone aviation. And Lee Mason, a very experienced 3D/VR designer, and Mike Stokes, an expert on the use and development of social media – and himself a fixed-wing pilot – will be delighted to advise on any aspect of their respective fields. The event will open at 11AM and continue until 4.30PM; entry will be free. All ACP connected schools in the wider Cambridgeshire area are warmly invited to attend.
