ACP Showcases Aerospace Technology at Peterborough STEM Festival 2025

The Schools’ Aerospace Careers Programme (ACP) returned to the Peterborough STEM Festival at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) on Saturday 18th October 2025, delivering another day of hands-on aerospace innovation to an enthusiastic audience. More than 1,000 visitors engaged with ACP’s exhibits throughout the event, exploring the intersection of engineering, design, and flight technology.

The ACP team, consisting of Chris Marshall, Mike Stokes, and Ogi Damjanovic, presented a range of interactive experiences including FPV drone simulators, a 360-degree VR flight experience, and 3D virtual design sessions. A particular highlight came when Ogi Damjanovic recreated the International Space Station in virtual reality using Gravity Sketch, which was later 3D-printed in miniature, drawing strong interest from students and families.

Another popular feature was Spot, the quadruped robot from Boston Dynamics, which engaged visitors throughout the day with live demonstrations showcasing its capabilities in motion and interaction.

ACP extends its warm thanks to Jonathan Frascella, Liz Randell, and Andy Reedman, the Festival organising team, along with the ARU staff and STEM Ambassadors led by Vice-Principal Dr Lucy Jones. Their support and collaboration once again helped make the event a resounding success.
