Andrew Greenhalgh – Head of Marketing at SSTL – said: “We are delighted to support the Schools’ Aerospace Careers Programme and are looking forward to receiving a group of worthy delegates down to Surrey Satellite HQ in 2025 when some of our young engineers will be happy to show them what a career in the Space industry might hold.”
Dr Michael Smith, Chair of the ACP, added that: “Space is a very important part of how we live, work and behave today, and the technologies involved are increasing and developing at an exponential pace! The science fiction of yesterday, is the science of today, and the adventure of tomorrow. But it is the young people of today and every generation that are, and will, make happen the discoveries and developments involved. That is why the ACP is so pleased to be joining with SSTL as we continue to encourage all young people across the UK to learn about, and explore, careers in Space & Aerospace.
