The ACP provides hands-on experiences for over 1,500 young people in Peterborough
As publicised in advance under ‘Upcoming Events’ on our website’s ACP Network page, the presentation team of Michael Smith, Chris Marshall, Mike Stokes and, standing in for Lee Mason – Gordon Emanuel, conducted a hands-on activity event at the Peterborough STEM Festival 2024 on 19 October. The event was hosted by the Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) and attracted 2,200 visitors, 1,535 of which were able to visit the ACP area and ask questions of SPOT, operate our drone simulators and experience aircraft cockpit operations via our VR equipment. The day was a great success for all involved and we offer our warmest thanks and congratulations to Jonathan Frascella, Liz Randell and Andy Reedman – the Festival organising team – their STEM volunteers and, of course, the ARU and their STEM Ambassadors led by Vice-Principal, Dr Lucy Jones.
