The ACP Network
Membership of the Network, like all the other elements of the ACP, is free to the young people involved.
The purpose of the network is to assist each member progress their career towards, and then in, the aerospace, space, aviation and associated industries. Additionally, it will be of interest to those industries in respect of recruitment and, quite possibly, supporting companies’ social responsibility programmes. Membership of the network is open to all schools, youth organisations and individuals who have attended a presentation and reached the age of 18, plus all companies and organisations associated with the ACP.
During 2023 the ACP undertook two trial network events. First, at the Digital Aviation Research and Technology Centre, Cranfield University. Second, at the Global Technology Centre of GKN Aerospace, Filton. Both were most successful and between them attended by 160 students. The outcomes from these are now being incorporated with the results of a survey of all schools and companies supporting the ACP to determine the content and operation of the network into the future, including the development and involvement of an ACP alumni from academic year 2024/25. Further details will be released in 2024.
