‘Spot’ joins the ACP team

We are delighted to announce that the Boston Dynamics robot – Spot – arrived from the USA on Friday, 9 June 2023, by air of course. Spot will now join the ACP team when we conduct presentations to groups of schools around the UK being a physical and active example of one of the many technologies rapidly developing as part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution – robotics – a technology being wholeheartedly embraced by the aerospace industry. Our programme of academic year 2023/24 presentations commences on 13 September 2023 to a group of 13 schools hosted by Bromley High School. Thereafter, there will be a further 15 presentations to groups of schools across the length and breadth of the Country during that year. The 2024/25 presentations programme is already in the planning stage.
